Yes , you can track canceled or deleted Sales Orders in Dynamics 365 Business Central (BC), but there are some important differences between canceled and deleted:
1. Canceled Sales Orders
Business Central does not really “cancel” a Sales Order in the same way as a document status.
Instead, you can:
Change the status of a Sales Order to Closed (manually) if you want to stop processing it.
Or, more commonly, you create a Sales Credit Memo to reverse/cancel an order that was already posted.
So in practice, “canceled” is handled either by closing the order or by creating a reversal document. 2. Deleted Sales Orders
If someone actually deletes an order, the document itself is gone — BC doesn’t keep it in the order list.
However, you can track deletions if Change Log is enabled:
Go to Change Log Setup → enable tracking for Sales Header (and related tables).
Then check Change Log Entries to see who deleted which order, and when.
You’ll see the primary key (Order No.) even if the order is deleted.
