Is it possible to use user group in the decision node under the workflow

In the workflow, we can use the workflow orginator to decide the workflow. However, once user has changed his duty to other job, we need update the workflow to reflect it.

Is it possible to check workflow orginator whether to belong to user group or not? Then, no need to update workflow anymore.

Thank Frank.

It is used for assigned approver to do decision for approval or rejection.

However, i want to do in 'Conditional decision' node.

For example,

if workflow.originator is belong to user_groupA, it will go to approver A. Otherwise, it will go to approver B.

This is the Assignment section Andre refers to. Double click on the Approval step to drill down on it. Then right click and select Properties to see this form.

Hi J. Lee,

Yes, this is possible. You can set the Assignment type to Participant. Then on the Role based tab select User group participants in the field Type of participant. In the Participant field, you can then select the user group. You can also assign the manual task to e.g. a security role. Then all members of the security role gets assigned to the decision.
