Delete JavaScript dependency on a form

Dear experts

In the development environment, I have deleted a dependency with a JavaScript method in a model-based form and then removed the JavaScript from the form.
Since the JavaScript is not used anywhere else, I have deleted it completely.

After deploying to the test environment, I noticed that all the changes I made have been applied to the test environment, except for the removed reference, which is still there.

How can I delete this dependency?

Many thanks for any helpful hints
